Philosophy
EdVenture Software has developed products that have made a difference to many kids who have struggled learning basic math concepts, geographical information and keyboarding skills. We strive to create programs that keep kids engaged while meeting the needs of a wide cross-section of learning styles and personalities.
Our educational philosophy is to nurture self-esteem in each student. There are many elements that tie into one's self-esteem and the principles incorporated in the goals and criteria of our software programs touch upon all of them. Nurturing one's emotional and mental capabilities provides, hope, support and guidance.
Founder
EdVenture Software was founded in 1997 by John Crandall, a former computer and math teacher, who utilized technology in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning. As someone who also struggled in school himself, Mr. Crandall has been able to identify with the needs of the kids today. After eight years of teaching K-8 in computers and math, he decided to devote all of his time and effort in expanding his company. Mr. Crandall has a degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Education.
Customers
Our software is used in many schools and homes across the country - currently in every U.S. state including Alaska and Hawaii as well as in Australia, Canada, and England. Teachers and parents alike rave about the programs.

EdVenture Software products have won numerous awards. Articles in the New York Times, Family Fun Magazine and many other publications have been very supportive of the interactive fun and knowledge that the kids get while playing the games.
