Mission Possible combines the challenge of trivia-style quizzes with the excitement of a sleuthing adventure.

Global warming has caused a computer meltdown at the International Weather Research Base, which is located on a remote island. Your mission is to penetrate the base's security system, download and back-up the central computer's data, and save the world. Like most good security systems, this one is full of hidden traps and not-so-hidden obstacles to thwart intruders. In order to complete your mission, you must answer geography-based questions quickly and correctly. The questions will test your knowledge of world geography, including countries, states, provinces, cities, capitals, bodies of water, mountains, deserts, and famous locations.

You'll start by entering your name, then selecting your character's appearance (hair, skin, shirt, pants, belt, shoes). You can then either begin your mission or visit the training camp for a preview of the action. Each section of the mission is based in a particular location (North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia). You can complete each area in any order, but you can only visit each location once. You must visit all locations to complete the mission, so you can't cheat and only visit the continents you know best.

When you're ready to begin your mission, a helicopter will drop you onto the island. You must answer a series of multiple-choice questions correctly in order to move around the island and achieve your goal. Questions are interlaced with the activities. Each time you answer a question correctly, you'll advance a little further in your exploration of the island. You'll scale up or rappel down cliffs, navigate narrow precipices, tumble down hills, crawl through swamps, cross rickety rope bridges, and avoid bats, scorpions, and other native critters, not to mention a few mechanical beasts. You'll also earn points for each question based on how quickly you select the correct answer. Answer too many questions incorrectly and the mission will be aborted, sending you back to the beginning.

A fun and interesting way to test your knowledge of world geography and brush up on any weak spots.
