Speedblade down roadways at record speeds, do a 720 in a half pipe, or dodge obstacles on sidewalks as quick as you can. Learn and practice your typing skills through 5 unique 3D animated in-line skating events. Through 20 levels of letters, numbers and punctuation symbols, students will strive to their best in hopes of making it to Star Row or Z-Hall of Fame. Roller Typing requires students to learn proper fingering techniques as well as develop speed and rhythm in both un-timed and timed situations. Other events include zigzagging through orange cones and cow jumping.

Philosophy

Roller Typing, offers a creative approach to fast and accurate typing. Designed by a group of elementary school teachers, Roller Typing teaches and reinforces typing skills.  Increasingly, teachers require their students to submit their school assignments in a typed format.  Proper keyboarding skills, therefore, are more important than ever – and not just in school; typing proficiency is a key ingredient to success in the business world.

Many children as well as adults still “hunt and peck” on the keyboard. This inefficient habit is a tough one to break. Roller Typing combats this problem in a fun and engaging way, requiring students to learn proper fingering techniques and to develop speed and rhythm in both timed and un-timed situations.  And as typing skills improve, self esteem increases.  Roller Typing is a winning program for today’s students.
