John Crandall is the founder of EdVenture Software, which he started in 1997. In the past, he developed six CD-ROM titles that were used in schools and homes in every U.S. state as well as in Australia, Canada, and England. Teachers and parents alike raved about the programs. He is in the midst of converting some of these past award winning CD-ROM versions to the app based market: Gold Medal Math, Roller Typing, GeoCycle USA, Mission Possible World Geography, Soccer Math, Penguin Cold Cash.
He is a former computer and math teacher who utilized technology in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning. As someone who also struggled in school himself, Mr. Crandall has been able to identify with the needs of the kids today. After eight years of teaching K-8 in computers and math, he decided to devote all of his time and effort in expanding his company. Mr. Crandall has a degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Education.
EdVenture Software is very excited to introduce its first app, Math Climber. As with our past educational software titles, our primary goal is to create software that nurtures children's self-esteem. This is achieved by designing a fun and engaging program that meet the needs of a wide cross-section of learning styles and personalities.
